Community Engagement Toolkit

  • Produced a toolkit for community-based organizations to facilitate the collection of public input for PRO from every Oregon county.

  • Toolkit features: digital long-form survey, intercept survey, dot surveys, focus group guide, interview guide, and tabling activities.

  • Developed tracking and reporting process to coordinate transfer, synthesis, and analysis of data from 50+ organizations.

Resilience Planning Case Study

  • Co-author of case study packet examining a diversity of resilience plans to inform PRO research.

  • Wrote case studies on 10 resilience plans across local, state, and international contexts.

  • Presented findings to the Statewide Resilience Forum to orient collaborators around potential approaches to regulatory, legislative, and monetary strategies.

Study of Local Oregon Plans

  • Reviewed and coded 139 city, county, and statewide plans across Oregon.

  • Analyzed results of 5,379 actions in plans to determine planning priorities and resilience gaps.

  • Translated data into a report on comprehensive plan review to inform how the PRO can support local planning efforts and address gaps in resilience planning.

  • Produced infographics and charts to accessibly visualize data for presentation to plan collaborators.
